Chapter 1 Linear
This chapter is all about βlinearβ math expressions. Without getting into the weeds, an example of a linear math expression is
\(2x+5\text{.}\) A linear expression like this could come out of a word problem, be on one side of an equation like
\(2x+5=7\text{,}\) be part of a function formula like
\(f(x)=2x+5\text{,}\) be part of an equation to graph such as
\(y=2x+5\text{,}\) and much more.
