Chapter 4 Radical Expressions and Equations

Radicals like \(\sqrt[3]{\phantom{x}}\) are the notation we use for a math operation that is the opposite process from raising to a power. Just like exponents, there are valid (and not valid) ways to combine radical expressions and end with a simpler expression. This chapter covers these β€œrules” for radicals as well as a few other related topics.
